The Transitional Housing Program provides funding to counties for child welfare services agencies to help young adults aged 18 to 24 years find and maintain housing, with priority given to those formerly in the foster care or probation systems. (SB 80, Statutes of 2019)

To identify and assist housing services for young adults 18 to 25 years of age;
Assist young adults 18 to 25 years of age secure and maintain housing; and
Provide engagement in outreach and targeting to serve those with the most severe needs.
